||Sometimes it is alleged that UPSC asks questions outside of the syllabus. Question like; ‘Opportunity on Mars ‘is cited as an example as something unrelated to the syllabus. Though it may seem so but actually in some ways it is related to the syllabus. If you are intelligent enough you can pick up the question which is directed to ‘Opportunity,’ the name of a Robot that was sent to Mars in 2003. And Awareness on ‘Robotics ‘and ‘Space’ is part of the UPSC syllabus (Paper-IV). So never be judgmental. UPSC strictly adheres to the syllabus.
