Shopping and spending-Is India's youth loosing economic balance?

"What's life without fun?" that's the baseline of today's youth and Indian youth are no exception… Shopping, spending has become a basic necessity today. The main cause for this is the drastic change in the lifestyle as compared with olden days. The booming IT sector which mesmerizes the youth with the hi-fi salary not only in the metropolis but from the nook and corner of the country.

It is almost a situation that there is a shortage of people carry8ing out the traditional jobs.

In the case of students parents contribute their part to shopping and spending as they provide their children with a huge pocket-money. Spending is essential but the present scenario is like spending on useless things in the name called parties and fun. Youth of today fail to realize that it is the hard earned money of their parents and the value of their toil. Youngster's go crazy on brands, fight and argue for Adidas shoes if some one got them NIKE but hardly do they realize that there are a group of people in India who walk bare-footed and that they have only one brand.

There are so many other things that they don't think about when we are so particular about the food, the dress etc. Habits like thinking about others, the passion for the country, contributing their part to the society, helping the poor etc. should be nurtured in the childhood so has to create a responsible youth and great citizens for our country. Shopping and spending is always necessary for we can never get the things we need without going for a shopping or paying for it but one must have in mind it doesn't refer to over-spending as " too much of anything is good for nothing".
