How can India get more Olympic Medals?

India, a country with a population of more than 100 billion and second highest populated country in the world next to China and competing with them in becoming Number 1 which cannot be appreciated at all though it says a company's prosperity is calculated on the basis of workforce group aged between 25-45 who are more productive but coming to that stage will take a longer time at least between 2020-2025 if a baby is born today. Not all get proper education to make our country prosperous is another sad story.

When we consider as to how to bring up more champions out of this massive population, t is simple to say in words but very difficult to execute but if it done with utmost dedication, it is still possible because even the word "Impossible" when separated gives the word "I M Possible"

Consider the example of our neighborhood country China .How did they get to the place as to where they are now..?? From not being in Top 10 in 80's, they have come all the way slowly but steadily to reach No.1 in the recently concluded olympics. How did they make it..?? Simple. Hard Work and Sincere Dedication made this possible for them. Their Government started identifying the potential champions right from when they were kids and encouraged them to reach where they are now.

We would have heard in schools where kids use to say I would want to become a champion in sports like Cricket, Chess, Football, Swimming, Shooting, Karate, Gymnastics etc., We would let it go just like that for the simple fact we assume that a kid's mind would change day after day. Why wouldn't have taken it seriously and encourage the kid in going in the same line which he/she aspired to go to..?? By doing this, we not only make the Dream of that kid come true but also our ambition of becoming Champions in the World come true.

"Practice makes Man perfect" is a saying. We should encourage our kids right from their childhood where ever they are and if they cannot afford the class of art / technology, the respective State Government or Central Government should take the responsibility of bringing up the kids. For instance in China, kids starts their training at 5 or 6 years which is why they can produce Gold Medallists at the tender age of 14 or 15. World might criticize of the age factor but at the same time they should understand that it is the best way of bringing out the unexplored talents.

We spend Millions and Billions in just one sport called Cricket which has made the respective Players Billionaires but what is the use...?? Have we ever won a World Cup after 1983..?? We lost the identity of being Hockey Playing Nation which had fetched us Gold so far apart from the recent one from Abhinav Bindra.I don't mean to say that we need to stop spending only in Cricket. Spend it but the Government should place a ceiling limit on the amount of expenditure incurred for a certain sport and also should set a ceiling limit for the salary and remuneration for their filthy rich players and also should tax heavily so that BCCI gives back some portion of the money which they get it from the Public and other MNC sponsors. Use this money for creating additional facilities like Swimming Pools, Air Shooting range.

We have poor facility in our country because of which Abhinav Bindra went overseas with him won money(since he can afford it)practised there and won the Gold Medal for himself and we claim as our Proud Medallist without realising the fact that we as a country helped him very little in realising his dream. Michael Phelps, since he had all the facilities available to him created so many world records and won 8 Gold Medals for himself. When one man can win all the medals, we as a country couldn't even match that one man's feet as a whole which is shocking and shameful for us.

Indian Government should take serious and emergency steps in creating more facilities which would encourage sports like Tennis, Swimming, Shooting, Gymnastics, Track events like running, high jump, long jump etc., They should set up an Advisory Board for all these games which fetches more gold medals in Olympics in a District Level which would spot and identify the budding talents and should recommend to State Advisory Board who would take it further through Central Advisory Board and if need be, sending those people abroad would definitely make way for our country INDIA to win more Olympic Gold Medals for sure in the further.
