No doubt, four years of construction work, hard work, crores of money spent on this statue is worth. There is also some amount of destruction of villages, trees, land and habitat of rural people. Many villages have been submerged by allowing the water flow from dam. It has also been noted that the villages and tribal people living in that area had to face some problems. The land being submerged and the sufferings of the people is to be concerned.

In my opinion, as this statue can provide a large scale employment to people, the same can be of help to those people who suffered due to this construction in economy. Those village people can be employed here based on their skills and education and make their lives better. It is known fact of economics that a economic growth in a good aspect on one side may cause a small amount of negative impact on another side unlike it is significant when it comes to economic growth and development of country. However, this statue has taken up our country to a different level and surely also contributing to the development of our country in the coming future.
