The phrase ,”Online schooling” has became a buzzword all over the world to avert the loss of academic year in this pandemic it is used almost exhaustively by every education and academic institutions to brim up the academic curriculum through online. The breakthrough in innovation of vaccine is the only solution to this, so that they will resume in near future.
The devastating and dampening impacts of the corona hit all walks of lives in the world immensely , but the prominent among them is the children those who are heavily suffocating . The governments all over the world imposed restrictions on every activity of the public and they had invoked serious acts and regulation to refrain them in participating. The academic institutions feared due to this pandemic it will endanger the academic year of the children , so in view of that they contemplated various options so atlas they opined “ONLINE CLASSES” is the best case scenario in present circumstance to ameliorate the impinging situation.
The institutions and academics started online classes to all the students, so that they will be no loss of academic year but the bottom line of the issue is contradicting . The world reputed institutions UNO,UNICEF,UNESCO etc which look after the issues of the children expressed the grave situation in the annual reports, that there are millions of children those who deprived from basic amenities like mal nutrition, stunting, health, quality of life etc ,then how can it is affordable for their families to acquaint with the Online classes. The online classes needs accessories like Laptop, Computer, Android mobiles, Electricity etc there are billions of people those who are thriving their monthly income in below the American dollar, because the entire global economy is on brink of collapse. All the countries in the world registering nosedive economic growth and nowhere in the near future there is accumulated and perceived pessimistic obsessions will erode until or unless herd immunity or breakthrough in innovation of vaccine is confounded.
The intellectuals all over the world opined and termed this academic has “ZERO ACADEMIC” or “HOME SCHOOL” year because due to the spearheading corona. Though this method is endorsed to lessen the impact of zero academic years for the children in their academic education. There are innumerable factors that dragged this novel concept into the court of law due to myriad factors where it deprives physical connectivity, direct interaction with school teacher, net speed is low , lack of electricity, non-affordable to purchase the accessories for the online education etc. The judiciary intervened in this case and entitled the education institutions not to coerce the parents for fees, not to level exorbitant fees in this pandemic where the whole economy is in standalone position due to lack of profits there are massive layoff’s from the private companies is quite visible.
The online education is only an temporary arrangement to mitigate the zero academic year in home school itself, but it should not be continued forever because the scientist are thriving their best efforts in confounding the vaccine and hope they will succeed in near future. The government should give permissions to the private tutorials where they provide education at nominal fees, it should also cancel the final exams to all the classes and allow them to enter next academic year after this conundrum was completed. The government should,” lessen the cost of the computers, laptops, internet charges ,accessories, android mobiles etc that should be affordable to the common man, it should provide subsidy to the poorest of the poor in purchasing this, internet connectivity should be strengthen in the rural areas, electricity charges should be lower etc. This above slew of measures will mitigate the impediments of the common man in purchasing the required equipment for online classes.
The government should take forward steps in mitigating the crisis, by providing needful measures that will be accessible to each and every children so that they will cope up with the ongoing classes.
