Youth represents passion, hard work and ability to learn and implement change. Since the last six decades our parliament is over powered by orthodox views. A change in voice is seldom heard. The laws of our country are all British era laws. New technology and thoughts are not accepted and implemented into the system.
The irony of the matter is the leaders in parliament are not willing to change; rather they are not adaptable to change. They want to stick to the traditional ways of functioning. India is a young nation. More than 70% of the voters are young. Then why should we not have young leaders to represent us. This thought has compelled the voters of India to vote for change. Hence the outcome is seen. Today, Indian parliament has the maximum number of young leaders.
The MPs like Deepener Hood and Shute Chuddar won by huge margins. The MPs like Rahul Gandhi who represents young thoughts and blood asked for a change. They are the ones who portray clean politics. This inculcated the feeling of meritocracy and fair play amongst the voters. The entrepreneurs like Naveen Jindal and Jyotiraditya Scindia represents change in power. They can prove beneficial for the business sector by playing an important role in eradicating old License Raj laws which still haunts Indian private firms to set up new businesses.
The MPs elected this time in Indian Parliament are more educated. It is the first time that the Indian Parliament has seen a leader like Prem Das Rai who is a product of prestigious institutions like IIT and IIM. Young MPs like Kalikesh Singhdeo, Agatha Sangma, Jayant Chuddar, Supriya Sule, Harsimrat Kaur Badal are all full of energy and are willing to acquire new methods of working which is a desperate call of the hour.
The leaders today came from different backgrounds. Shashi Tharoor has the International exposure. His experience will certainly be beneficial for the Matters of External Affairs. Ahmad Hamdulla Sayeed represents small constituency like Lakshadweep, wherein Shute Chuddar represents a backward and orthodox area like Bhiwani. These young literate leaders will definitely prove good for their constituencies. Leaders of mass appeal like Rahul Gandhi and Sachin Pilot has an international exposure. They can take India to new heights and fulfill the dream of India become a world super power.
It is a very good factor for the Indian Parliament that today we have a mixed blend of experience of great leaders like Dr. Pranab Mukherjee, P Chidambram etc with the young blood. Now they can represent the problems of their area and work towards the upliftment of the masses. All that is needed are young thoughts. Our ideas and views should never get old. The young MPs will keep the flame ignited in parliament and never let the session die. Most of them are first time MPs and they keep their attendance full in order to learn and achieve. Thus maximum will be the work.
Today India needs a corporate world like structure where the appraisal will be based on performance not by virtue of status. Hence the workforce needs to be more intelligent and willing to learn. The young MPs today represent the same. They can work here in India and as well as they can represent India at the global platform. They will change the way India is governed and take her to new heights of prosperity.
